After surprising me with a Sunday morning tee time, a breakfast of eggs, bacon and toast, and some yummy elvis (peanut butter and banana) coffee... we headed out for our 8:50 am tee time.
Hole 1. Seriously, could the day turned out more perfect? Temps in the mid 70's and look at that sky!
Teeing off Hole 1
Hole 1... 10 shots each. This is what happens when you dont dust off your clubs in a couple years.
10 strokes. At least it was a great day for photo ops.
Yup, we let the next group play through. They caught up. Cant say if it was the photo ops or the high stroke counts.
Best drive of the day!
Putting for par.
Just awesome day!
It was such a sweet surprise. Really made special by the planning and thoughtfulness of it all! The day later included some weeding outside, watching Olympic volleyball, napping, crafting, the most delicious pork chops and some oreos for me and cake for him. Perfect Sunday? Pretty darn close.
